WEAR MASKS, GLOVES WHEN DRIVING – LASG ORDERS COMMERCIAL DRIVERS

In a bid to curb the spread of coronavirus, the Lagos state government has given a set of new rules for all commercial drivers.

The state government’s ministry of transportation on Sunday, March 22, ordered all commercial bus owners to always put on face masks and wear hand gloves while driving, Channels TV reports.

Added to this, the commissioner for transportation, Frederic Oladeinde, in a statement told drivers to always have alcohol-based sanitizers both for themselves and passengers in their buses.

Moreover, Oladeinde all persons intending to board commercial buses must have their temperatures checked with thermometers and that all air conditioning system in public transport be switched off.
