Nigerian popular singer Davido says all money donated to combat covid-19 must be accounted for, after fire gut AGF’s office

Nigerian popular singer Davido has reacted to the fire incident that happened at the office of the Accountant General of the federation. The singer however, expressed his depressed at the news over the Office.

It was however, gathered that the fire started from around the third floor, razing the building upwards including the accountant-general office and other relevant offices as well.

In reacting to the sad info, the hip-pop star took to his page on the popular Instagram platform, Twitter, to clear the air over his own opinion.

The highly talented star said that the money donated to combat COVID-19 must be returned. According to him, he does not agree with the story that the AGF’s office caught fire.

It was revealed that individuals and organisations donated billions of naira to fight the coronavirus pandemic in Nigeria. Some of the money was also donated to provide food for poor Nigerians. The singer’s father is one of the people who donated a huge sum of amount.

Perhaps, Davido’s father contributed one billion naira to the Osun state government to combat the infectious decease covid-19.

Lamenting the loss that must have taken place at the AGF’s office, Davido expressed his heartbreak through tearful emojis. As if to mock him, a follower identified as King Anuoluwapo tweeted at Davido. He told the singer that his father’s contribution has just gone down the drain.
