The dethroned emir of Kano and also a formal CBN governor, Lamido Sanusi, has welcomed a new baby girl from his 4th wife, Saadatu Barkindo Mustapha according to a local media Firstweekly Magazine.
Saadatu is however said to be an indigene of Adamawa state and got married to the former emir on September 15, 2015.
It should be noted that Sanusi married the woman when she was just 18 years old, an issue that stirred public uproar.
In a statement by Daily Times, it reports that the news of the delivery was confirmed from a Manunita who said that the erstwhile monarch is blessed with the new bundle of joy as the person prayed for her wellbeing.
A Twitter account said to be close to the family according to Daily Times also tweeted about the newborn.
