The electoral body called INEC has lamented badly over conflicting court verdicts and litigation that have characterized the recent governorship election that is about taken of in Edo state.

The Independent National Electoral commissioner, Festus Okoye, said the lawsuits is able and capable to damage many things over the election that is about taken off sooner and the parties’ primaries as well.

“Political Parties should note that the organisation and scheduling of various activities and processes leading to the conduct of elections are complex and involve extensive and careful planning and any disruption of these processes comes at a huge cost to the nation.
