Bukola Saraki pledge his support to Kwara Students who built a working prototype Aircraft of N3.5 million

Popular Nigerian politician Bukola Saraki has pledge to support the four Kwara students who constructed the working prototype of an aircraft from locally source material.

The four secondary school leavers are identified as Jimoh Abdulfatai, Abdulteef Hanafi, Musa Aliu and Jamiu Abass had earlier recounted how they sold their belongings to build the N3.5 million working Aircraft

However, the these four your men have also met with AbdulRahman, AbdulRazaqu the state governor alongside with other dignitaries who promised to work with them towards providing support for the growth of their innovation.

Meanwhile, on Tuesday, Saraki spokesperson confirmed that the former senate president Bukola Saraki has directed representative of his foundation to meet with the students. He said was to determine the eare at which the school leavers innovation can be supported.

However, the representative of the foundation already had a meeting with the students to determine in what way they can be assisted, which would be taken up at any point in time.

Meanwhile, Saraki had taken to his Twitter handle to commend the students, he tweeted “quite fascinating to read about these talented innovators from my home state Kwara. I have just directed my foundation (@ABSfoundationNG) to reach out to them to support both their innovation and education.

While detecting the cost of sourcing the aircraft’s components, one of the students says “it cost us about N3.5 million, we contributed the money to make the project a reality, We got materials locally, we got plate from Surulere in Ilorin, we bought pipe and other materials”.

” We use Volkswagen 1200 engine to power the aircraft, it also has the components normal craft such as propeller, tail, winds and flying gear.
