The former president of Nigeria Atiku Abubakar has totally rejected the recent increase in electricity tariff

Nigeria former president Atiku Abubakar has criticize the recent increase in electricity tariff.

Atiku Abubakar who has said that despite the damages brought by the coronavirus across the globe, the government went ahead to increase the electricity tariff.

Atiku said that most Nigerians have suffered from the recent lockdown, saying that most them have not earned salary for the months.

Atiku in his pitiful mind, he said that Nigeria need a stimulus, but not an impetuous disregard for the challenge the face.

In his statement, he said that this increase is ill-timed and ill-advised.

His rejection was made opened on his micro blog, the caption read: “I reject the increase electricity tariff. Coming out of the lockdown, Nigeria need a stimulus, not an impetuous disregard for the challenge the face. Many Nigerians have not earned an income for months, due to no fault of theirs.
